NICOLE KOHLERT, PT CLINIC LEAD

Nicole has over 20 years of experience as a physiotherapist in Ottawa. She has worked in a variety of settings - most spent in neurological rehabilitation as an Advanced Bobath therapist.

Marie-Céline is a bilingual (French and English) neuro-physiotherapist with great passion for, and extensive training in, complex neuro-sensory-motor conditions (20+ years).  These conditions include, but are not limited to, complex concussions or post-concussion syndrome, post-craniotomy, migraines/headaches, autonomic dysfunctions, trauma, etc.

Janet is an experienced physiotherapist with a special interest in treating neurological conditions, in particular Parkinson's Disease, post-stroke rehabilitation and the geriatric population.

Alexia is a bilingual (French and English) graduate from the University of Ottawa Physiotherapy program. Through her studies she sparked an interest and passion for the treatment of individuals with neurological conditions.

Bahaa has developed interest in the vestibular pelvic fields and also have experience in a variety of different cases in musculoskeletal, sports and trauma injuries, as well as pre and post surgery conditions.

Jhanvi has a special interest in treating neurological conditions and is passionate about supporting the patient to optimize function in their daily lifestyle.


Massage Therapist

Nicole is an experienced registered massage therapist of over 18 years with a background in treating a variety of orthopedic conditions and in the last few years developed skills in treating concussion, brain injury and temporomandibular joint disorders.

Yoga Therapist

Jo-Ann is a bilingual (French/English) Yoga Therapist / Educator. Yoga Therapy has its roots in Western medicine with the principles of the ancient teachings of yoga and establishes learning objectives that have therapeutic intent supporting individuals in their healing process. Jo-Ann's special interest is in pain management and overall mental wellness.

Speech Language Pathologist

Ben graduated from McGill's School of Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2019 with a Master of Speech-Language Pathology. He is clinically certified through the licensing colleges of both Ontario and Nova Scotia.

Melissa Rakauskas |

Business Lead

Melissa started with Neurologic Physiotherapy as a receptionist/client care co-ordinator at the St Laurent clinic in 2018. After moving up into the Care Coordinator Manager position in March of 2022, she continued to foster her love of the clinics and their loyal and beautifully diverse clientele as well as making new clinical connection for those seeking our unique brand of care that puts empathy at the forefront.

In July 2023, Melissa moved into the position of Business Lead for both the east and west locations. This has allowed her to grow and further develop her management career while still providing support to the outstanding administrative and clinical staff which Neurologic has built their reputation on.

 

Amber Arnold |

Receptionist / Care Coordinator

Amber has over 10 years of customer care experience and after the birth of her premature baby became interested in applying her skills in a healthcare setting. With a lifelong interest in psychology and behavioral science, supporting clients at NeuroLogic is the perfect fit for her. Getting to meet and connect with patients on both a personal and professional level is a joy she looks forward to everyday.

In her free time Amber is a mom and wife whose family is her grounding force and inspiration to move further.

Mélanie St-Jacques MacLean |

Administrative Officer

Mélanie St-Jacques MacLean as join our team in 2019 in a client service/business administration capacity on a part-time basis. Melanie is a public servant retiree. She has more than 20 years' experience in human resources management in the public sector. Mélanie holds a Bachelor of Commerce with honors in Human Resources Management from the University of Ottawa.
