Nicole has over 20 years of experience as a physiotherapist in Ottawa. She has worked in a variety of settings. She has spent most of those years working in neurological rehabilitation as an Advanced Bobath therapist. She is dedicated to providing patient centered care for the neurological population. She has specialty training in a variety of neurological conditions including stroke, brain injury, Parkinson’s disease, spinal cord injury, and multiple sclerosis. She is certified in LSVT BIG and PWR to treat people with Parkinson’s disease. Nicole offers comprehensive evaluation, fitting and follow up for the Odstock® Dropped Foot Stimulator. She volunteers her time with CAN DO MS, a leading
nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people living with MS thrive. She assists with research projects for stroke patients at Elisabeth Bruyere Research Institute. Nicole enjoys mentoring physiotherapy students and junior physiotherapists at Neurologic Physiotherapy. She strives to provide specialized and individualized care for each of her patients so they can reach their goals.
In her new role as Clinical Lead, she is providing leadership and support to our team at Neurologic Physiotherapy so they can provide the best treatment possible to our clients.
